TRX Suspension Trainer -- best home tool ever!
This the most simple, versatile functional training tool ever made.  You can literally use it anywhere, and even take it with you if you travel.  It's a simple set of lightweight (but very durable) straps that can anchor to doorways, ceilings, trees (outside), etc.  With the TRX, you can do an effective full body workout with just the weight of your own body and the straps.  It's amazing!!   A MUST HAVE for triathletes.  Check it out at:

Stability Balls:
A versatile tool that can be purchased at most sporting goods stores for around $20-40 and used at home.  A full body workout can be done on a stability ball, with particular emphasis on the core muscles.  Sitting on the ball provides support for upper and lower body exercises, while challenging the core to support the movements.  A plank position on the ball (facing the ground in push-up position with feet on the ball) is a great way to work upper body, lower body and core muscles.  There are also a large variety of floor and standing exercises and stretches that can be done with this tool.  It's a great investment in your fitness and I highly recommend it.  Coach Lisa clients are led through many exercises using a stability ball with detailed descriptions of the movements.

BOSU Ball:

Similar to the stability ball, but flat on one side which allows for even more exercises that challenge stability and the core muscles.  The "dome side" (rounded side) can be placed up or down for a different challenge.  You can sit, stand or lay on the BOSU for a large variety of exercises.  Coach Lisa clients will have the BOSU incorporated into their strength workouts.  The BOSU can be bought at most sporting goods stores, Target, or online.  They are also supplied at most health clubs and group fitness strength classes.
